Tantrum: Eliminated contestant Stacy Francis slammed her rival Astro for his 'bad behaviour' on last night's X Factor USA

X Factor USA's Stacy Francis has slammed Astro's 'bad behaviour' after the teenager threw a tantrum on last night's show.

The 43-year-old single mother was eliminated from the competition after landing in the bottom two with the 15-year-old rapper.

Astro - real name Brian Bradley - was clearly shocked to find himself singing for survival against Over 30's diva and threatened not to perform.

Tears: The teenager broke down after being blasted by Simon Cowell

'You can call him a teenager and give him an excuse, but bad behaviour is bad behaviour,' Stacy told America's Us Weekly after the show.

'He was ungracious in that moment, and in the real scheme of things, no matter what you have to be grateful.'

She concluded: 'Simon likes a little rebellion and he might respect Astro a little bit for just being a little bit rebellious. He likes a bad boy.'

Stunned: The performers couldn't hid their disappointment after landing in the bottom two

Clearly bitter at her departure, she added: 'I feel like my demise was set up [Wednesday] night when [Coweel] called me a cabaret singer. My feelings were very hurt.'

Astro, who was a 4-to-1 favourite with Las Vegas bookmakers, ended up in tears after he was blasted for his attitude by judges L.A. Reid and Cowell.

'You acted a little like a quitter and it upset me,' said his own mentor L.A. Reid.

'I don't like your attitude right now, you've got your arms folded and its disrespectful to the audience to your fans and your mother,' said Cowell.

He was, however was ultimately saved by the judges, as Francis failed to make it into the final nine.

Much to Nicole Scherzinger's delight, LeRoy Bell was the first to be saved despite a performance on Wednesday that Cowell blasted, saying the singer could not win the competition without drastic improvement.

The second act to make it into the top nine - saving Paula Abdul blushes - was Lakoda Rayne, the only remaining group in the running for the $5million dollar recording contract.

Chris Rene then made it through for L.A. Reid's boy followed by Melanie Amoro for Simon Cowell and Josh Krajnik for Nicole Scherzinger.

Joint favourite Marcus Canty punched the air as he was kept in the competition followed by 14-year-old chanteuse Drew.
