Charitable Kim Kardashian serves up the goods... as she helps feed 120,000 homeless people for Thanksgiving

Charitable gal: Kim Kardashian shows her giving side by volunteering at the Los Angeles Mission today



The E! star looked less done up than she has of late, wearing far less make-up and looser clothing than she's typically seen in.

In fact, the Kourtney & Kim Take New York star looked downright fresh-faced with matching pale pink lips and cheeks.

Her hair, usually done and blown out to perfect, hung over her shoulder in a simple fishtail braid.

Gone were the fancy frocks and furs she tends to wear, as well, as she covered her red Mission apron with a black and red lumberjack-style jacket.

She seemed to have found her experience feeding the homeless a rewarding experience, as well.

She wrote on her Twitter page today: 'Just left the LA Mission. Met so many kind hearted people! They're goal is to feed 120,000 people by the end of the yr! We fed so many today.'

She added: 'Everyone of us can do something small that will make a huge difference to someone else.'

Kim, along with fellow Hollywood starlets Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Love Hewitt, was caught on camera prepping food for the meal.

'These people don't have the meals that we do, so anything we can do to provide that for them, I'm very happy to do,' she told ABC News 7.

She helped to prepare 3,000 pounds of turkey and 80 gallons of gravy to serve the meals.

Kim's act of giving immediately follows yesterday's report that ex-husband Kris Humphries called her 'fat' during their 72-day marriage and plans to sue her for $10 million.

US Weekly has claimed that the basketball star not only neglected his new wife, but he made a series of derogatory comments towards and is accused of referring to Kim's famous sizable derriere as a'fat ass'

A source told the magazine: 'He belittled her in front of people. He'd call her stupid. It was truly sickening.

'He tried to control Kim by bringing her down...He would say truly terrible things. One time, he said she had no talent and her fame wouldn't last.'

Kim announced she was filing for divorce from the 26-year-old NBA player on October 31.

Jenner has told Kim to stay out of the spotlight and has gone into damage control after being shocked at the amount of bad Press the short-lived marriage has received.

A source told the website: 'They did not anticipate the extreme backlash and the damage it would cause to the K-brand as a whole.

Meanwhile, RadarOnline reports Kim's manager and mother Kris Jenner has got Kim on lockdown - and is limiting her public appearances until the backlash over her divorce has settled down.
